The Barnard community joins together to mourn the loss of Alan F. Segal, Professor Emeritus of Religion and Ingeborg Rennert Professor Emeritus of Judaic Studies.  He was a devoted member of the Barnard faculty from 1980 until he retired this past December.

Barnard College President Debora L. Spar today announced that after 16 years, Provost and Dean of the Faculty Elizabeth S. Boylan will be leaving her administrative role at the College for a new position with the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, where she will serve as Program Director.
