Directions

The main entrance to the Barnard campus is located on West 117th Street and Broadway on the west side of the street. If coming by subway, take the #1 train to 116th and walk uptown 1 block to West 117th Street and Broadway. Barnard is located on the west side of Broadway and 117th Street.
To get to our office in 301 Barnard Hall:
Enter through the main Barnard College gates at 117th Street and Broadway. Barnard Hall is the first big brick building with Corinthian columns in front of you as you enter through the main gates. Once in the building, go to the right and up to the 3rd floor. Our office, 301 Barnard Hall is located on the stair/elevator landing on the 3rd floor.

Need a form signed by the Department Chair or Program Director?

Please obtain appropriate form (for example: major or minor form, change of advisor form, study abroad form etc.) from the Registrar's office. Fill out the form and drop it off in the Art History office for either the department chair or program director to sign. It takes about 2-3 days turn around time for the form to be signed. Students are responsible for picking up forms and depositing them with the registrar. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the office at esher@barnard.edu.
