Email Lists and Aliases


To request an Email List or Alias, download this form, open in Microsoft Word, and fill it out as completely as you can.  Email it as an attachment to help@barnard.edu.  We will contact you as needed to clarify or request missing information and/or when the list is ready.  List requests may be submitted by Barnard College faculty and staff, and must be related to the College’s mission of teaching, research, and service.

Following are the most common functions of email lists at Barnard.

After the list is created, the designated departmental representative (Shepherd) will be trained to maintain the list.  The shepherd will add and delete members.  Academic Technologies is available for troubleshooting and technical questions.

To request a list for a student club, please check with  the College Activities Office.
