Barnard Bound is a fall pre-open house program designed for students who self-identify as students of color and/or students who could not otherwise afford to visit Barnard. One-half of the student participants last year were from the New York City metro area, and enrollment is limited. Students who meet admission criteria and demonstrate financial need will receive travel scholarships.
The application deadline for Barnard Bound has now passed. We will continue to accept supporting materials until Tuesday, September 18.
College advisors are asked to nominate interested students who may be promising candidates for admissions. Applications and advisor recommendation forms are now available here; notification will be sent to guidance counselors and college access advisors via email. Participation is by invitation only.
(All selected Barnard Bound participants will be automatically registered to attend our full Open House on Monday, October 22, 2012.)
