For the inaugural production of New Plays at Barnard, the theatre department joins forces with downtown company New Georges to bring Lauren Feldman’s The Egg-Layers to the stage. The Egg-Layers riffs on the Greek myth of Leda and the swan, and brings this disturbing story powerfully into the present: a performance of healing, revenge, and a search for the divine.
