Sarah Ruhl’s retelling of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice is a bold, moving, and beautifully strange meditation on life and death, love and loss. Director David Paul’s production mines the emotional core of this time-honored tale, while interrogating its place and function in contemporary cultural politics.
