Join the McIntosh Activities Council's Action and Network Committees and the New York City Civic Engagement Program for a special screening of the film, "Whatever It Takes", on Wednesday, April 18th. The film chronicles the struggles and triumphs of the Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics, a public high school in the South Bronx.
Join us for a casual pre-screening reception in the Altschul Atrium at 7pm, featuring delicious appetizers (kosher option available) and mocktails, courtesy of the Barnard Alcohol & Substance Awareness Program. The Civic Engagement Fellows will be tabling with internship and civic engagement information, so be sure to stop by if you are looking for internship or volunteer positions! The film screening will begin at 7:45pm in Altschul 202, where we will be serving delicious popcorn handmade by CU Purple. Last but not least, stick around after the film ends for a very special Question and Answer Session with the protagonist of the film, Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics Principal Edward Tom!
