Barnard College offers funding for unpaid internships through the Alumnae and Donor Sponsored Internship Grant Program. The maximum award is $2000 for a summer internship and college-subsidized summer housing may be available to grantees interning in the New York City area. The online grant application is available HERE. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 11:59PM. NO late or incomplete applications will be accepted.
Grantees are expected to have secured internships by the application date. Additional requirements include participating in an online discussion community and attending professional development events.
Workshops are offered prior to the application deadline to review the entire application process as well as the do’s and don’ts of writing an effective grant application:
Wednesday, March 28th: 12pm to 1pm
Thursday, March 29th: 11am to 12pm
Monday, April 2nd: 11am to 12pm
Tuesday, April 3rd: 2pm to 3pm
