Reacting to the Past Workshop

Experience history in a captivating way by taking part in Reacting to the Past, an elaborate multi-day simulation game. The workshop, held in Israel, will be based on an historical event that took place in or near Jersalem, and will be informed by pertinent texts. Reacting is a highligh refined game known for promoting engagement with big ideas, and improving speaking, writing, and leadership skills. First, each student will be guided on the relevant issues and historical context. Next, you will be assigned a role based on the event's historical figures, after which you will break into factions and discuss objectives. Finally, you will meet again as a group to debate, persuade and look at history anew.
