Curtis Harris

Manager of Faculty Sponsored Research Grants

Prior to coming to Barnard, Curtis worked at Rutgers University as the Assistant Dean for Research in the College of Nursing. He has also worked at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as the Director of the Division of AIDS Education and at Monmouth University, where he was the creator and Director of the Office of Grants and Contracts. During the 90’s Curtis was active in the AIDS Community as the Director of the HIV Project at the American Indian Community House in New York City. His bachelor’s in Political Science is from Louisiana State University and he holds a Masters of Public Administration from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.

  • Is a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe in Arizona and therefore holds dual citizenship as an Apache and as an American.
