During the 2015-2016 academic year, awards were presented to Barnard's exceptional faculty to honor their commitment to teaching. 

More than 180 participants, from 100 colleges and universities across the U.S., Canada, Norway, China, and Australia, will convene at Barnard's Sixteenth Annual Reacting to the Past Institute on June 9–12. 

During the 2015-2016 academic year, Barnard students earned top scholarships, fellowships, and awards in recognition of academic achievement and commitment to improving the global society.  

Well’s research on mirror meditation is the subject of her forthcoming book, The Mirror Cure: The Healing Power of Self-Reflection, and is the focus of upcoming workshops, in which participants try out the technique.
