Books and Calculators

Lending Library

Borrow books from the HEOP Scholars Office and HEOP Scholars Computer Room for the semester. Please note there are borrowing and sign out procedures.

$200 Book Vouchers

Given at the beginning of the semester for first year students to purchase books from Columbia Bookstore or Book Culture Bookstore. Please bring a copy of your program, a copy of the syllabus for the class, and the cost of the books to be purchased.

$250 Book Advance Loan

Receive an optional book advance on the first day of registration. This loan is included in your bill.

Calculators

Borrow graphing calculators for the semester. $10 deposit fee required. Must be returned at the end of the semester.

Computers/Laptops/Office Help

Computer Station

Use the computer stationed in the HEOP Scholars Office located in 001 Milbank Hall.

Borrow A Laptop

To complete papers, projects, and other school-related tasks.  You will be billed for the cost of the computer if it is damaged or not returned. Twenty five ($25) dollar deposit required. Late fee of $25 per day applies. Computers are limited.

Office Help

You can use the HEOP Scholars Office to fax and copy for job and/or education related purposes.
