BOOKS AND CALCULATORS
Lending Library
Borrow books from the HEOP Scholars Office and HEOP Scholars Computer Room (113 Hewitt Hall) for the semester. Please sign out the books in the black binder and return them at the end of the semester.
$250 Book Vouchers
Given at the beginning of the semester to purchase books from Columbia Bookstore or Book Culture Bookstore. Please bring a copy of your program and a copy of the syllabus for the class you’ll be using the voucher.
$250 Book Advance Loan
Receive an advance on your Work-Study or Barnard College Job on the first day of registration. This loan is included in your bill.
Calculators
Borrow graphing calculators for the semester. $20 deposit fee required. Must be returned at the end of the semester.
COMPUTERS/LAPTOPS/OFFICE HELP
Computer Room
Use the computers in the HEOP Scholars Computer Room, 113 Hewitt. Sign for the key with the Hewitt desk attendant. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Borrow A Laptop
To complete papers, projects, and other school-related tasks. You will be billed for the cost of the computer if it is damaged or not returned. Twenty five ($25) dollar deposit required. Late fee of $25 per day applies. First come, first served.
Office Help
You can use the HEOP Scholars Office to fax and copy for job and/or education related purposes. You can also use the telephone for long distance phone calls which are job or school related. |
