Print and Design Help

Barnard Print Services does not offer design services. However, we can help you prepare your job so it can be successfully printed the way you intend.

• Start first with our downloadable templates for Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs. In most case, these templates create the proper document or page setup you will want. You may need to make some modifications, but you will still save time and achieve proven results if you start here.
• Be sure to enable crop marks when creating jobs that bleed and/or must be cut from a larger sheet, such as cards and invitations.  For instructions on designing with bleeds and converting to Acrobat PDF with crop marks, see our Quick Guides for InDesign, Publisher, and Photoshop.
• Review the information on PDF creation. Print Services prefers to work from Acrobat files and the information here will help you create a proper PDF. In particular, download the Quick Guides for creating bleeds and crop marks in various programs.
• Consult the FAQ section for additional information on specific design questions.
