Print Services can mount posters onto Foamcore or Gator Board, with or without lamination. Mounting adds at least 24 hours to a poster print order.
- Foamcore or Foamboard is a very strong, lightweight and easily cut material useful for making signs and posters. It consists of three layers — an inner layer of polystyrene sandwiched between an outer facing of coated paper.
- Gator Board is a rigid polystyrene foam core laminated between two face veneers of resin-impregnated wood fiber for use in displays. It is stronger than foamcore, but about the same weight.
- Gloss lamination applies a plastic film to the finished poster for protection. Gloss lamination imparts a shiny look to the poster and will reflect light.
