Authenticated wireless is available for students in most of Barnard's residence halls: Elliott, Plimpton, 616 and the entire Quad. The old network wiring in these buildings remains in place but, because of the age of its infrastructure, it is no longer being maintained. Thus, jacks will not be repaired in these dorms.
Both network and jack repairs will continue to be made in the 600 and 620 dorms until the wireless installation in those buildings is completed.
