Forgotten Barnard Password

First Year Students:

If you are a first year student and you had never changed the initial Barnard password given to you when you activated your Barnard account, please revisit the Initial Login Page and retrieve your password again. If you keep getting the 'Cannot Verify your Login' error message, try copying and pasting your password from the Initial Login page.

If you had previously set up your Password Self-Service, you can reset your password on your own by visiting the Password Self-Service Page.  It can take up to an hour for your new password to be active.

Returning Students:

If you are a returning student, you will have to have your password reset.

If you had previously set up your Password Self-Service, you can reset your password on your own by visiting the Password Self-Service Page.  It can take up to an hour for your new password to be active.

Otherwise, you will need to come to the Student Computing office located in 307 Diana with your Barnard ID and we will reset your password for you. This process can only be done by a Supervisor Mondays - Thursdays, 9am - 11pm and Fridays, 9am - 5pm.

Tip for all students:

Remember that passwords are case-sensitive and that the digit 1 can look like the lowercase letter L as well as the digit 0 can appear to be a capital letter O.
