Barnard College offers funding for unpaid internships through the Alumnae and Donor Sponsored Internship Grant Program. The maximum award is $800 for a fall internship and students in the classes of 2013, 2014, and 2015 are eligible to apply. The online grant application is available HERE. The application deadline is Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 11:59PM. NO late or incomplete applications will be accepted.
Grantees are expected to have secured internships by the application date. Additional requirements include participating in an online discussion community and attending professional development events.
Workshops are offered prior to the application deadline to review the entire application process as well as the do’s and don’ts of writing an effective grant application:
- Thursday, January 31st: 12pm to 1pm
- Friday, February 1st: 3pm to 4pm
- Monday, February 4th: 11am to 12pm
- Tuesday, February 5th: 10am to 11am
