The Barnard College Civic Engagement Fellowship Program aims to expand the College’s community service efforts through student involvement; the program encourages leadership development and a lifelong commitment to public service. Civic Engagement Fellows lead and plan activities through partnerships with neighborhood organizations on the Upper West Side and in Harlem. These student-led collaborations foster relationships between the Barnard community and its New York City neighbors, as well as strengthen ties within the Barnard community.
