A. Students studying abroad in Spring of 2014 or for the entire 2013-2014 academic year are free to run for positions for the 2014-2015 Academic Year
B. Students planning on studying abroad for the Fall 2014 are not eligible to run for the 2014-2015 academic year, but may apply for any open positions upon their return for the Spring 2015 semester.
C. Students planning on studying abroad for the Spring 2015 semester may run for non executive board positions for the 2014-2015, but should consult the Elections Commission.
Candidates currently studying abroad must to appoint a Campaign Manager to run their campaign, who is required to attend an information session. Candidates must email the Elections Commission and be approved to have a Campaign Manager by April 6 at 11am EST.
Candidates must notify the Elections Commission of their choice for Campaign Manager on the Intent to Run form, which is due online April 9th at 5pm EST.
A speech for the candidate forum must be submitted two hours prior to the event (April 10, 2014, 7pm EST) to the Elections Commission, a member of which will present it at the forum.
Campaigning Rules are the same for students running from abroad, and all times and dates are in EST.
Voting on Ebear take place during program filing. It will open at 9am EST on Monday, April 14th, and will end Friday, April 18th, at noon.
