SATURDAY SCIENCE SEMINARS, or S-Cubed, brings together 11th grade girls who exhibit strong academic ability and enthusiasm for sciences at the college level over the course of five Saturdays in the Spring. Taught by renowned Barnard faculty, this program covers different scientific disciplines in interactive, challenging and lively classes.
COLLEGE PLANNING DAY is an opportunity for juniors to get a jump start on finding a good college fit and presenting your best in college applications. In one afternoon, learn about college life from a diverse panel of Barnard students, and then attend your choice of two workshops presented by admissions officers while family members learn about financing their child’s college education.
STEP is a New York State Department of Education initiative designed to provide services to students from underrepresented populations or economically disadvantaged backgrounds seeking careers in the sciences, mathematics and technological fields, and the licensed professions.
