Fulbright U.S. Student Program

The Fulbright US Student Program supports students for one year of graduate study, research, creative projects, or English teaching worldwide. The program is one of the largest academic exchanges in the world, providing approximately 1,900 grants annually in all fields of study and in more than 140 participating countries. Fulbright Student grants provide opportunities for personal and professional development. During their grants, Fulbrighters meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences and gaining an appreciation of others' viewpoints, behaviors, and cultures. By facilitating individual, cross-cultural interaction in an atmosphere of openness, academic integrity, and intellectual freedom, the program aims to foster mutual understanding.
