Marshall Scholarship

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a graduate degree in any field of study at any UK University. Marshall Scholars receive funding for up to three years of study leading to a degree in any field of study at a UK university. Funds cover university fees, living expenses, an annual book allowance, thesis grant, research and travel grants, and costs of travel between the US and UK. The Marshall Scholarship is funded by the British government to foster strong continued ties between the US and the UK. As future leaders, with a lasting understanding of British society, Marshall Scholars strengthen the enduring relationship between the British and American peoples, their governments and their institutions.
