CEP programming including Bold Conference

Studying the Now

  • Studying the Now offers interdisciplinary panel webinars with experts in our community to help our community unpack current issues as they take place. Athena SPARK

  • Athena Center for Leadership’s SPARK events are designed to ignite students’ thinking about change through interviews, book talks, field trips, film screenings, and more. Students get to know women and non-binary people leading change in a wide range of areas, and learn more about the hard, but important, work of building a better future. https://athenacenter.barnard.edu/spark-athena

Staff quarterly workshops and capacity building

  • The office of DEI collaborates with experts in the field to develop and implement workshop series, which can cover topics such as implicit bias and 

microaggressions, disability justice, and LGBTQ+ affirming practices. Upon request, workshops are customized for administrative departments, faculty, and student needs.
