Broadway Mall Association 

Works in partnership with community residents, businesses, other non-profit groups and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation to beautify and maintain the malls of Broadway, from the Upper West Side through Harlem to Washington Heights, including winter lighting and public art exhibition.

Children’s Learning Center

A parent cooperative preschool that celebrates learning through play, the arts, and hands-on exploration.   

Community Board 9

CB9 includes the neighborhoods of Morningside Heights, Manhattanville, Hamilton Heights and the historic Sugar Hill District. 

Columbia Community Service – CCS

More than 1,200 employees of Barnard College, Columbia University, and Teachers College give generously in support of critical services for children, the elderly, the homeless, and our neighbors in need.

Community Impact

Friends of Riverside Park

Riverside Park Fund's mission is to preserve and improve New York's classic waterfront green space, stretching over four miles along the Hudson River from 59th to 158th Streets.

Goddard Riverside Options Center at Cathedral Gardens

Goddard Riverside’s OPTIONS Center for Educational and Career Choice shows New York City students they can go to college and guides them through the steps to enrollment.

Morningside Area Alliance

MAA mission is to foster, develop and promote the advancement of the Morningside Heights district of New York City as a unique educational, residential and cultural neighborhood; to sustain linkages among its members institutions to enhance communication, public well-being and cooperative initiatives; and to identify and access the collective resources of its member institutions for the purpose of improving the areas of education and youth services, public health and community development in Morningside Heights and the surrounding community.

Office of Black Ministry-Archdiocese of NY

OBMNY's mission is to listen to and promote the aspirations of Black Catholics. To encourage self-reliance, cultural identity, economic freedom, and spiritual growth in the Black Community; and To work towards the eradication of racism and all forms of oppression within the Church and Society.
