Barnard Library and Academic Information Services

The Barnard Library and Academic Information Services unit advances the mission of the College by supporting excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. It provides information resources and instructional support services that establish a foundation for intellectual inquiry, ethical scholarship, lifelong learning and the dissemination of knowledge.

Dean for International and Global Strategy

Giorgio DiMauro, Dean for International and Global Strategy in the Office of the Provost, works to broaden the College’s reach globally through providing faculty with opportunities to further develop connections, courses,  and expertise abroad in support of the College’s internationalization efforts on and off campus; to encourage discussion among faculty, staff and students on the international focus and character of the College; to lead discussion on curricular innovation related to global themes; and to provide the College’s students with the experiences and skills necessary to become active leaders and responsible members of the “increasingly interconnected world” they will enter upon graduating.
