Decolonizing the Archive: Missionaries, Digital History, and Religious Studies
North Tower, Sulzberger Hall
Please join us for a discussion and celebration of The View from Ginling, the Religion Department's ongoing student-produced digital humanities project exploring the complex history of a Protestant women's college in twentieth-century Nanjing, China. The Barnard Library is also celebrating the granting of Faculty Partner of the Year Award to Gale Kenny for her collaboration and innovation on The View from Ginling.
Come learn about the website and the class, and then hear short student presentations about their work on the website. Presentations will be followed by a Q&A and informal discussion.
