Alumnae class presidents from as far back as the class of 1938 joined Barnard students, trustees, faculty, and staff in a college-wide convocation ceremony on Monday, September 9 at the historic Riverside Church. Pulitzer Prize-winning author Anna Quindlen '74, Chair Emerita and Trustee Emerita, delivered the keynote address. The ceremony was the first in a series of public events that will celebrate the college’s 125th anniversary throughout the 2014-2015 academic year.
