The series culminates this April with a conversation between Tow Associate Professor of History Anupama Rao and Kadambari Baxi, professor of professional practice in architecture. Together with Provost Bell, Professors Rao and Baxi will break down how social difference affects the urban environment, and vice versa. Looking across the East/ West global North/South divide, the professors will delve into histories of political culture, postcolonial life, and contemporary transnational dynamics, to assess who is ignored in creating today’s cities. Seating is limited. Please arrive early. Doors close at 6:30 PM.
