Join Sara Hertog, BC’2000, for a light dinner and discussion about her career as a demographer with the United Nations Population Division where she is responsible for measuring and monitoring global trends in mortality and health. Her research has focused on gender disparities in HIV/AIDS epidemics, the potential for the spread of HIV/AIDS in China, and mathematical simulation modelling of population and epidemic dynamics. She holds a PhD in Sociology and an MS in Population Health Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned her BA in Economics.
