Barnard Career Development Library (Elliott Hall, 2nd Floor)

Interested in a career in human rights?  Looking for a way to make a first step?  Come to the Human Rights Internships Student Panel and learn from other Barnard students who have had amazing human rights internships.  This is a great way to gain some insight into opportunities available in the human rights field.

Panelists include:
Samantha Plotner is a senior at Barnard majoring in Political Science and Human Rights Studies.  From January-June 2012 she was an intern at The National Organization for Women--New York City.

Fatema Jannat is a junior at Barnard, majoring in Political Science and Human Rights.  This summer as part of the Liman Public Interest Law Undergraduate Summer Internship Program, she interned at the Office of Court Administration.  She worked for the Chief of Policy and Planning on a report for the Chief Judge of NY State on pilot Adolescent Diversion Parts.
