The hybrid festival features film screenings, installations, a panel and guest speakers and takes place on-line and at Barnard College of Columbia University in NYC. Registration is now live! The Festival will have 3 parts: March 28th-April 3rd: Live Installation at the Barnard College Movement Lab (no tickets required -- drop in only) April 3rd: Main Live Screening Event at Barnard College (tickets required) April 4th-April 11th: Online Screening access to all Festival films on the Moving Body-Moving Image Festival website (no tickets required) The in-person Main Live Screening Event of the Moving Body - Moving Image 2022 Festival will include two programs of film screenings and a live conversation between guest speakers Kayla Hamilton and Rodney Evans. The Official Film Selection will be announced on the Moving Body-Moving Image website soon. The Live Installation at the Barnard College Movement Lab will include Jury Selected and Invited films, as well as select work from Jury Member and interdisciplinary media artist Yo-Yo Lin 林友友.  All films will be available virtually for the Online Screening on the Moving Body-Moving Image Festival website. PLEASE NOTE: we are committed to making the Moving Body-Moving Image Festival as accessible as possible. Our live events require proof of vaccination and masks to help ensure the safety of our community. All films will have open captioning and audio description. Our guest speaker conversation will have ASL interpretation and live captioning.
