Interactive Map of Winning Study Abroad Photos

From the busy streets of Dhaka to the Flamenco caves of Granada, each year more than 200 Barnard students travel far and wide during their study abroad experiences, often capturing the world through camera lenses

An annual photo competition celebrates the best images from their international experiences, as well as the more local experiences of students studying in New York with Barnard's Visiting International Student Program.

The contest, known as SNAP (See New Abroad Photos), awards prizes in four categories related to the study-abroad experience: intellectual exploration, personal growth, global issues, and cultural comparison. This year's first place winner's include:
