In an interview with Zagat Buzz's Jacqueline Wasilcyk '08, singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega '81 elaborates on her favorite Morningside Heights haunts for eating and writing:

"I love the Hungarian Pastry Shop. It’s where you would go if you needed to work on a paper and didn’t feel like being in your room. You could have a cappuccino or a cup of tea and a plate of cookies, and sit there for four hours, and they wouldn’t rush you out," says Vega.
