Dance professor Paul Scolieri has received the 2011-12 Joan Nordell Fellowship at the Houghton Library, the principal rare book and manuscript library of Harvard University.  This visiting fellowship will support his research on Ted Shawn, "The Father of American Dance."

Prof. Scolieri's primary areas of research and teaching include world dance studies; Latin American and Caribbean dance history; performance theory; dance politics and policy; and movement analysis.
