Meet the Staff: Jade Levine
Jade Levine '19
Jade joined the office in 2019 after graduating from Barnard with a major in Urban Studies and a minor in Environmental Science. As a student, Jade was a Senior Interviewer, an orientation leader and crew captain, a WBAR DJ, and was deeply involved in the zine community on campus. She worked in the zine library as a student worker from her first semester until after graduation, and led the Barnard Zine Club. She is involved in the Girls Rock Camp movement in New York and works with the W.O.W. Project in Manhattan's Chinatown. Jade coordinates our interview process, managing our Senior Interviewer cohort and working with our Admissions Fellows and Barnard Alumna Admissions Representatives (BAARs).

Why did you choose to work at Barnard?
As a proud Barnard alum, it's been amazing to come back to Barnard and be surrounded by our supportive and thoughtful community.
What is your favorite book?
A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki
What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?
I love going to karaoke, and I love spending time in different parks — my favorites in the neighborhood are Morningside Park and Sakura Park.
What is your favorite place on campus?
The zine library.
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
I can crack an egg with one hand!
