Post-Bac Fellow Ruby at the Telluride Film Festival, in front of the festival banner

On September 4-6, Ruby, our IMATS Media Center/Movement Lab Post-Baccalaureate Fellow attended the Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium! She was selected as one of 50 students who attended the symposium. Ruby saw a total of 13 films in five days and attended private conversations with filmmakers like Werner Herzog, Peter Bogdanovich, Rithy Panh, Hirokazu Kore-eda (this year's Palme d'Or winner at Cannes), and more! She also adds, "I did actually meet Herzog one on one, but the moment was too pure to ask for a photo. Instead I've attached a photoshopped image."

The Student Symposium is open to undergraduate and graduate students, and involves a highly rigorous program of screenings and discussions.

Congrats, Ruby!
