Carol Dweck '67, the groundbreaking psychologist behind mindset theory, and the Lewis and Virginia Eaton Professor of Psychology at Stanford University, delivered the keynote address at Barnard Convocation in September, 2017. Dweck emphasized the importance of using the "tremendous resources of this great College and University and to become the person you want to be—the person who, over time, will make your unique contribution to your world and the people in it."
