Eileen Ford '43, co-founder of international modeling agency Ford Models, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 92. Under her direction, the company became one of the most prestigious modeling agencies in the industry, drawing attention to some of America’s most famous faces. As Eric Wilson writes in The New York Times, “A formidable manager, she was widely known for protecting models from underhanded deals and sexual misconduct and generally cleaning up the sleazy image of the business, insisting that both clients and models observe a code of ethics and decorum.”
