The following email was sent to the Barnard community on Nov. 16, 2018:

Dear Barnard Community,

This note is to let you know the elevators in Milstein Hall will be out of service until further notice. We are working hard to make the necessary repairs and the elevators will be back on line as soon as possible. I regret this inconvenience.

For faculty and staff who are unable to access the upper floors of the building, please contact either the provost office (for faculty) and/or your supervisor (for staff) to make alternate work arrangements. For students who have difficulty accessing the upper floors should also contact the appropriate faculty, staff member or supervisor to make alternative meeting, work, study, etc arrangements.

Again, we apologize for this inconvenience and will let you know when the elevators are back on line.

Sincerely,

Ken Luciano, Deputy Director, Facilities Services
