Davis Projects for Peace grant
Annika Freudenberger '18 was the recipient of a 2015 Davis Projects for Peace grant. Grantees are awarded funds to design and execute a project that will contribute to peace and a better world.
2015-16 Fulbright Scholarships
Mary Ajamian '08, Mariam Banahi '07, Naomi Boyce '14, Karissa Chen '04, Laura Hendrickson '10, Zoe High '15, Audrey Larkin '15, Gabriela Minden '15, and Rachel Susser '14 were offered Fulbright scholarships for the 2015–2016 year. The Fulbrights offer students and young professionals the chance to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide.
Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education
Camilla Buzard '16 received Honorable Mention in the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education competition. Scholarships are designed to attract outstanding students into research careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, and engineering.
Luce Scholarship
Amarynth Sichel '11 was the recipient of a 2015–16 Luce Scholarship. The Luce Scholars Program aims to enhance the understanding of Asia among potential leaders in American society.
National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships
Allison Leah Cohen '14, Baila Sara Hall '13, Aditi Shukla '12, Victoria Marie Steffes '12, and Shreya Subramani '12 received graduate research fellowships from the National Science Foundation. The fellowships are given to people selected early in their graduate careers based on their demonstrated potential for significant achievements in science and engineering.
