Lizeth Jaramillo

Associate Director for Residential Life & Pre-College Programs

Lizeth Jaramillo is the Associate Director for Residential Life & Housing, specifically for 'Off Quad' communities. Off Quad communities house Barnard's Senior Experience program, Social Justice House and Transfer Time. Lizeth joined the Barnard community in 2016 and her experience in residential life dates back to 2008 as a Resident Assistant at her undergrad, William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ where she studied Psychology. Lizeth continued her studies while serving as a hall director at Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ where she earned a masters in Counseling with a concentration on substance abuse counseling. Professionally, Lizeth has served in various roles within residential life at New York University and The Juilliard School. Lizeth was born and raised in Queens, New York and identifies as a first generation Latina. Her inter-sectional identities drive her passion to empower and support Barnard students as they navigate college, big city living and the multitude of transitions that come with graduation, employment and adulthood.
