Meet the Staff: Sarah Yoon
Sarah Yoon '17
Sarah is an alumna of Barnard College, where she majored in Political Science. She joined Barnard's Admissions Team in the fall of 2019 after starting her career in higher education at NYU Stern as an events coordinator. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education at Teachers College of Columbia University. In the office, Sarah works extensively with our Barnard Student Admissions Representatives and oversees the campus tour experience.

Why did you choose to work at Barnard?
I chose to work at Barnard because of the tight-knit community - Barnard's mission of empowering extraordinary women continuously challenges everyone on campus to keep learning and growing.

What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?
Exploring new cafes all around the city & watching Broadway shows!
What is your favorite place on campus?
The top floor of Diana is very quiet and secluded with lots of natural sunlight - great place for rest & recharge on campus.
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
Longiflorum-Asiatic Lilies are my favorite flowers!
