Taylor Morton

Taylor Morton serves as Environmental Health and Education Manager at WE ACT for Environmental Justice in Harlem. Taylor has worked for WE ACT since 2016, formerly as an intern, environmental health fellow, and educational consultant. Their work has included co-facilitating and creating curricula for the organization’s educational programs. Taylor also recognizes the importance of exposing minority, urban, and low-income youth to natural elements, and actively supports this mission. Taylor holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Spelman College, a M.S. in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management from The New School, and a M.S. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.

WE ACT EHJLT - Environmental Health and Justice Leadership Training
The Environmental Health and Justice Leadership Training (EHJLT) introduces WE ACT members to environmental justice, environmental health, community organizing, and campaign work to prepare more leaders from Northern Manhattan for advocacy work. After completing the training, participants of the EHJLT are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to organize campaigns or projects for WE ACT and/or broader environmental/social justice movements on their own.
