Hewitt Hall

Hewitt HallHewitt Hall was built in 1925.  The Furman Counseling Center, Disability Services, and Alcohol & Substance Awareness Program are all located on the first floor. Dining Services is located on the mezzanine level (accessible via stairs from the first floor).  Hewitt Dining Hall is located on the lower level and is accessible from the tunnel level of Barnard Hall.

Common Areas Study and TV/kitchenette lounges on each floor in Sulzberger; TV lounge in Sulzberger lobby; computer labs & music practice rooms in Sulzberger basement
Room Layout Mostly single (and a few doubles/triples) corridor-style rooms (floor plans)

Accessibility Sulzberger and Brooks entrances are wheelchair accessible and elevators stop at floors 1-7.  The 8th floor of Hewitt is reached by steps from the Brooks or Sulzberger 8th floor, but is not wheelchair accessible
AC Hewitt does not have air-conditioning. Please note that neither window nor portable ACs are permitted

Note: Smoking is not permitted in any Barnard residence hall (Smoking Policy).
