Remote Instruction on Monday, January 26
Dear Members of the Barnard Community,
Barnard College will remain open tomorrow, Monday, January 26, but will shift to remote instruction due to severe weather conditions. Students will receive more information directly from their professors with specific guidance about remote learning, including information about making up class work in the limited circumstances where virtual coursework is not possible.
The campus will otherwise remain open for operations necessary to support our residential students. Staff members should contact the senior staff member in their area to determine whether they are needed in person or whether they may work remotely. We ask employees commuting to campus to exercise caution, utilize public transit whenever possible, and allow for extra travel time.
