Fun Facts
Why did you choose to work at Barnard?
When I found Women's and Gender Studies in college, I really regretted not exploring women's colleges during my college search. I love the opportunity to connect with passionate women seeking a liberal arts environment in a big city, and espousing the leadership opportunities offered by a women's college to curious students. Professionally, I was also drawn to the office for its female leadership--I'm proud that tenet is vital to Barnard everywhere, from our student body to the 64% of female faculty to college leadership!
What is your favorite book?
I feel a deep connection to Good Material by Dolly Alderton, not least because it chronicles the year I lived in London and makes so many niche references to what was happening in the city at that time. As a theatre major, I also love reading plays; recently I've really enjoyed John Proctor is the Villain, but Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is also a classic.
What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?
Go see a show! On a Sunday I love to check the board at TKTS and get last-minute discount tickets to a matinee; I've kept all my Playbills since I was 8 and recently completed my goal to see a show in every Broadway theatre!
What is your favorite place on campus?
There's an outdoor terrace on the fourth floor of the Millstein Center that offers great views of Futter Field and Broadway.
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
I collect vinyl records and have almost 200 records in my collection!
