How OIE Can Help

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) supports the Barnard community with data and survey needs that inform planning, assessment, and decision-making. We offer two main request forms:

Data Request Form

Use this form to request institutional data in a FERPA-compliant and efficient way. Whether you need enrollment trends, demographic breakdowns, or summary statistics for planning, research, or reporting, OIE will review your request and respond within two business days with either the data or an anticipated delivery date. Please note that some information may already be publicly available on Barnard’s website (e.g., enrollment, admissions, graduation outcomes), so checking those resources first is encouraged.

Survey Support Request Form

Use this form to request help designing, administering, or analyzing surveys. OIE can assist with survey creation, data summaries, and visualizations tailored to your audience. This support ensures high-quality results that can inform planning, evaluation, and communication. If you're a Barnard community member and would like to add to our annual omnibus surveys like the BEAR survey or the CUB survey, please emall us at oie@barnard.edu.
