Advisory Board & Community of Support

The Francine LeFrak Center Advisory Council 

To complement and assist the Francine A. LeFrak Foundation Center for Well-Being’s on-campus initiatives and programming, Barnard created an Advisory Council of individuals and organizations that share a commitment to advancing all areas of well-being. Participants on the Advisory Council help develop short and long-term plans that guide the Francine LeFrak Center's leadership. Members represent a wide range of ages, identity groups, and professional experience, with expertise in fields such as physical and mental health, financial fluency and well-being, diet and nutrition, and holistic self-care. The Advisory Council also includes ex-officio members Francine A. LeFrak and President Sian Leah Beilock, and senior administrators at the College also attend meetings on an as-needed basis.

The Advisory Council shapes the Center’s strategic direction and acts as key partners to Barnard leadership and to those organizing the College’s well-being initiatives. With the active participation of industry experts and innovative thinkers who understand the College’s history, current needs, and long-term objectives, the Advisory Council will continue to strengthen Barnard’s well-being resources and ensure that the College can meet the evolving needs of our student body for generations to come.
