Adrienne Santiago
Lecturer of Neuroscience and Behavior
Adrienne Santiago has joined Barnard College as a Lecturer of Neuroscience & Behavior in 2026. As a graduate student with Dr. Chiye Aoki at NYU, she investigated the neural impact of resource scarcity on stress response throughout development. Her postdoctoral work with Dr. Rene Hen at Columbia University Medical Center used cellular, molecular, and transcriptomic techniques to identify mechanisms of neuroplasticity engaged by antidepressant treatments.
